I think I’m re-learning what it means to be a friend. It’s definitely not the easiest thing in the world. It’s watching someone’s back whether they know it or not, or whether they want it or not. It’s putting them before yourself. Maybe it means doing things that make you uncomfortable, but things that you know are good for them. It’s giving of yourself, being broken as they are broken.
Being broken as they are broken. Jesus, You are the ultimate example.
Teach me, Friend. Teach me how to be a friend like you have been mine.
