Hand in hand

ImageGetting into Salford. Being offered two scholarships. I can only say – I’ve been blessed beyond measure.

In Christ Alone

In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I’ve been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I’ll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to the grace by which I stand

In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the glory of my Lord

In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone

There is nothing to describe the feeling of joy, relief, gratitude, ‘undeserving-ness’ and the overwhelming thought of grace that swept over me when I received the calls from the scholarship boards. And I honestly can say that God gave me the words to say and the peace to know that He knows what’s best for me and that He has plans for what lies ahead. Prior to each interview, I ran through my journey of discovering my passion in P&O and the stepping stones that He has placed ahead of me each time I looked to Him.

And every single time, my Father has pulled through – He provided and He answered.

I love You. Help me to love You even when it’s difficult to. Because in the good or the bad, I want to be sure that in Christ alone, I find everything.
